Cora's Cupboard

Cora's Cupboard, our food pantry, was established in our church on June 14, 1987 as a parting gift to Cora Mayo, a much loved member of the church who was moving to Maine.  Prior to that time there was only one food pantry located in Eastham for all the towns use.  Now there are pantires in all the Lower Cape communitites. Cora's Cupboard is the Orleans pantry.

We provide canned and dried goods, paper items, etc.  We also have a refrigerator that we keep stocked with milk, cheese, eggs, and margarine.  In the freezer we try to have chicken or meat, frozen pizzas, frozen veggies, etc.  Each month we recieve a delivery from the Greater Boston Food Bank, which provides us with some fresh vegetables and fruit. Anyone in Orleans can use Cora's Cupboard.   We encourage everyone to use the pantry to help save their money to pay other bills.

On Tuesday from 10am - 12pm any Orleans resident can use the pantry.  No appointments needed..  A volunteer will quickly register you and give you a grocery list while you remain in your car.  Your order will be filled and placed in your car.
